	Bishops Training

The overall aim of training existing Anglican Bishops in Africa is to equip them with effective skills that will enhance their capacity to fulfill the mission of the Church.
The month long training is carefully planned, with talented resource people drawn from all over the world. The course content has the following key objectives:

To facilitate Bishops to have at a clear and in-depth understanding of Management as a basis for enforcing an improved work performance.
To enhance the leadership ability of the Bishops so as to understand and respond to the fast changing environment within which they operate or minister.
To enable the Bishops dialogue and together explore contemporary issues that have a grave impact on humanity and the Christian ministry in which they are key players.
To facilitate the Bishops arrive at clear, attainable plans on how to improve on the performance of the Christian church in furthering the Gospel.
To give the Bishops in Africa the opportunity to meet, fellowship and share experiences of the Ministry of their dioceses.
To act as an inspiration to the hosting Province.

In 2002, the Bishops Training was hosted by the Church of the Province of Central Africa in Boadzulu Malawi. 21 Bishops participated.

How to apply:
Interested Bishops should apply to their respective Archbishop or Primate who in turn forwards the request to: The General Secretary

Priority is however given to newly consecrated Bishops and availability of space.
