This is CAPA’s programme that goes back to the 1970’s and has trained Bishops from the Anglican Provinces of Africa and sometime some from India. The estimate of bishops who have benefited from this training is over three hundred bishops some of who are now primates of some of the CAPA Provinces.

Through this initiative, CAPA empowers newly consecrated bishops by facilitating training in leadership, management, strategic planning and team building among other useful courses. The overall aim is to equip new Bishops with effective skills that well enhance their capacity to fulfil the mission of the Church. The month long training is innovatively planned and resource people are drawn from all over the world. It is held once a year in one of the Provinces.
